Audi e-Tron Spyder

What with the news that DeLorean is to go back to the future and launch an all-electric version of its DMC-12 (complete with iPhone dock), we thought it time to look at another promising battery-powered car. Audi's exquisitely sculpted e-Tron Spyder concept is a precursor to the forthcoming R4 - pencilled in for 2014. A diesel-electric roadster with a 300bhp twin-turbo V6 TDi powering the rear axle and two electric motors driving the front axle, the e-Tron accelarates to 60mph in 4.4 seconds. What one might call 'eyelid-flipping'. As for the current trend for re-launching products from Back To The Future, let's just hope Coca-Cola don't get any ideas about Tab Clear...
